A serious new deal means the fruit tea and ice cream specialist may quickly immediately compete with Luckin Espresso and Cotti Espresso in China
The world’s largest F&B chain has made its greatest transfer but to muscle into the world’s largest branded espresso store market – and past.
With 50,000 shops globally, round 45,000 of that are in China, Zhengzhou-based Mixue exceeds the dimensions of main QSR and low chains, similar to McDonald’s, Starbucks, Subway and KFC.
The Chinese language chain has made a reputation for itself with its reasonably priced fruit tea, bubble tea and ice cream – the latter of which it sells for as little as $0.40.
Its newest funding may spell hassle for China’s largest espresso chains, Luckin Espresso and Cotti Espresso, and place Mixue as China’s go-to espresso vacation spot in its personal proper.
