Which spring weight should I use?

Choose a depth that matches your preferred tamping pressure: increasing the depth will apply more pressure to the espresso puck.

What should I rest the portafilter on when I’m using the tamper?

We suggest using a dedicated tamping station which can be found online. If you do not have this, a towel or cushioned surface could work as well.

Does it work with all espresso machines?

This tamper is compatible with espresso machines that use 54mm portafilters, including most DeLonghi and Breville/Sage models such as the Barista Express, Barista Pro, Barista Touch, Bambino, and Bambino Plus.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Due to the real walnut handle, our product is not dishwasher safe.
