The Carlyle Group-backed espresso chain will return to the worldwide stage 4 years after exiting China
Seoul-based café chain A Twosome Place is about to open its first US retailer in October 2026.
Based in 2002 and owned by US personal fairness agency Carlyle Group since 2021, A Twosome Place operates greater than 1,750 shops in South Korea with a concentrate on premium espresso and desserts. It introduced plans for a US launch in November 2025.
